Holiday Cottage in Ashbourne

Welcome to Our Website
The old market town of Ashbourne has the magnificent St. Oswald's Church dating from the 14th century, R.C., Methodist and other churches and provides a range of good shopping facilities.
It is also noted for its fine Georgian architecture and maintains two traditions.
Firstly, the Royal Shrovetide Football Game has been played for centuries. The 'goals' are three miles apart and the width of the pitch is not defined, but the river and main streets are included.
Secondly, the local delicacy is Ashbourne Gingerbread.
Ashbourne also has a 9 hole golf course, squash courts, bowling greens, swimming pool and a pleasantly situated park and gardens.
Other local places of interest are Haddon Hall, Chatsworth House and Alton Towers.
